I started my career doing marketing research for a television sales advertising company.
I learned to use such research tools as Nielsen Media, Medialine, Quanvert, and Snap.
I used that experience to further my career and become a research executive with one of the
world's leading research companies, Millward Brown. At Millward Brown I developed even more research
and analysis skills including learning how to create custom questionnaires
that cater to the messages and goals of various fortune 500 clients.
Wanting a new challenge outside of the world of research I took a position at Westwood One.
At this new position I was able to combine my knowledge of graphic design with the
analytical skills gained from past job expereinces. I utilized the enitre Adobe Creative Suite
as well as Microsoft Office to help the sales team perform at the highest level possible.
At Westwood One I was also re-introduced to the Public Relations industry and served as the
lead press contact for the company, which included drafting press releases and managing the
distribution process.
Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to take my love for sports and use it as a
Freelancer for CBS Sports in their Graphics department during the NFL and NCAA Basketball
seasons. I help the lead Broadcast Associate build in-game graphics that are used instantly
during live TV coverage. I have also worked as a logger . This entails keeping track of and helping to pick out the key plays throughout the games in order to make highlight packages.
In the past year I have gone back to school in the evenings to perfect the art of graphic design at Hunter College and enjoyed every minute of it. |
